UFO Over The Rainbow

Notes on this episode, from the witness:

It was sometime in the summer of 1967 and I was getting off work as a waitress. I was closing up the Rainbow Restaurant in Muskego / New Berlin Wisconsin at around 1:00 AM.

I was with the owner, cook and a county sheriff. As we left we noticed a large flying disc directly in front of us about a football field away. It was about 100-200 feet above the ground hovering. We were all awestruck, stood there holding hands except the cook who started to panic and tried to get back into the restaurant and when she couldn't she got in her car and left immediately.

The Sheriff ran to his car and called his dispatch saying, "You're not going to believe what I'm seeing!"

Dispatch replied with, "People are seeing it all over the county!"

It was large metallic and circular, it had a large glowing bubble underneath it. I thought it was the control center. It had what looked like windows in it but we couldn’t see in.

It hovered in place for a few minutes and started to jump back and forth through the sky. It jumped several times and then shot up miles into the sky and disappeared.

I thought it was beautiful. I was never scared. In fact I wanted to see it again. For years afterward I would take my children outside and lay on a blanket on clear nights to look up into the skies. I never saw anything again, but I wanted to!
